Sprockets Cycles manager is patiently waiting for the bits for his shiny new Transition TR250 to turn up. This should get him excited. Might have to come up with something along these lines for when he finally builds it, but he definitely won’t be getting paid for the man hours taken to produce this piece of work.
Hopefully his bike turns out to be this nice as well.

Second Up from Transition Bikes is the Covert…………
with slightly more travel (160mm) than the Bandit, this is a harder hitting full suss option from Transition, capable and burly enough to be ridden in the Megavalanche but still relatively light and nimble to take on most UK trail centres.
This is the Covert 2 build option, slightly more wallet friendly than option 1 and comes in at £3209.99. This build comes with the lovely new RP23 Boost Valve with Kashima coating, giving it 160mm of unbelievably plush rear wheel travel. Up front we have a Rock Shox Lyrik RC 2P fork, dual position travel for grinding uphill and ragging it back down again. Full specification can be found at Sprockets Cycles.
We have a medium in stock but can get all sizes and colour options within a couple of days.
First order of Transition bikes came in last week, first to be built is the Bandit 26″, its a 2011 frame and build kit but the geometry is the same as the 2012 model. first impressions? this is going to be a FUN bike!
The new bandit will have kashima fork and shock but for now we have to make do with the old RP23 shock and Float 140mm forks. rest of the build is by SRAM and transition components. coming in at just under £2900 RRP we have it at £2609.99 due to it being a 2011 model.
If the feel of this bike is anything to go by, the next build is going to be amazing, the brand new Bandit 29er 2012, in the only colour it should really come in, Lime Green. More on that as soon as its built.
Come in and have a proper look at the Bandit in store and check out the rest of the Transition stock we carry.

Received this lovely new Demo 17.5″ Genesis Fortitude race 29er bike from Madison this week.
29ers have come to the masses, they are not now reserved for those who love the rigid, singlespeed, minimalism of bikes. they have GEARS! and occasionally suspension too!
This offering from Genesis though keeps it relatively close to the 29er roots, rigid forks, single front ring and a decent ratio 9 speed rear cassette. Built from Reynolds 725 steel, the frame can take anything thrown at it.
This bike promises to be a UK trail centre king.
